Geena Davis and Joan Chen join Jessica Chastain in Eve
Academy-Award winner Geena Davis and Joan Chen have joined Jessica Chastain, Common, Colin Farrell and John Malkovich in Eve, according to Deadline. No specifics were given about the roles Davis and Chen will play.
While details on the plot of Eve are scarce, the film is said to be a character study that revolves around a female assassin. Chastain will both star and produce Eve using her production company Freckle Films and Voltage Films.
Eve will be directed by Tate Taylor (The Help, The Eyes of Tammy Faye) following the departure of original helmer Matthew Newton. In addition to Chastain, Kelly Carmichael, Nicolas Chartier, and Dominic Rustam will produce through Freckle Films.
